Today was our weekly trip to the OB. He noticed that the swelling was getting worse in my feet and legs, and that it was spreading to my face and hands as well. There was also protien in my urine and my blood pressure was a little high. These are all signs of preeclampsia http://www.preeclampsia.org/about.asp. The only way to cure this is delivery of the baby, so...we are going in on Wednesday afternoon to start labor induction and will hopefully have a baby by Thursday afternoon. Please pray that a healthy Baby Boy Barth is delivered safely and swiftly. I will update the blog as soon as I can with more news and/or pictures.
