Bittersweet

What an exciting morning! We were able to see and hear the baby's heartbeat - truly amazing. I can't believe it is only 2 centimeters long and already has a heartbeat. It was 162 beats a minute. The round part on the right side is it's big ol' head and the little skinny line coming off the left is the umbilical cord. Right above that is it's bottom. Unbelievable.

If you have seen ultrasound pictures before you have already figured out that there are two sacs. That was it's twin...it didn't make it. I was a little sad about that, but truly thankful for the healthy baby we have growing now.
